I've lived in St. Louis my entire life and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia, where I received a bachelor's degree in journalism.  I love the rich history of St. Louis and my writing reflects that. For many years, I have written about amateur baseball in the St. Louis area.  I also love the outdoors and has incorporated the love of nature into my first novel. I grew up on the banks of the River Des Peres! 🤣.  I have been writing my entire life, ever since grade school.  I love being a writer. 

My first novel The One That Got Away, has been in the Barnes & Noble Top 1000 almost continuously for the past three years, and has been a B&N Best Seller many times and has made the Top 100 numerous times.  The St. Louis Public Library has included me on a list of the Top 46 St. Louis authors, a list that included Jonathan Franzen and Kate Chopin.  My novel is very popular with African Americans.
